On23 May 2011the missionaries of the India Bangalore Mission were privileged to participate in a special meeting with Elder Jay E. Jensen of the Presidency of the Seventy and his wife, Sister Lona L. Jensen.   During Elder and Sister Jensen’s first visit to India, they were able to express their love to these missionaries, most of whom are from India and many of whom are first-generation members of the Church.

On 22 May 2011at a special district conference in Chennai India, Elder Jay E. Jensen of the Presidency of the Seventy taught the members about four essential cornerstones of our faith: the First Vision, the Book of Mormon, priesthood authority and keys, and the Savior Jesus Christ.  “Teach your children to embrace these four cornerstones,” he urged.   He explained how the Holy Ghost will help us gain an understanding of these important truths.  The privilege of receiving revelation and having latter-day scriptures are blessings of the Restoration that distinguish our faith.
