The book which truly touches every saint’s heart that has the desire to know the truth and come unto the fold of Jesus Christ is the Book of Mormon. The Lord declared that the Book of Mormon contains the fullness of the gospel of Jesus Christ which came forth in this dispensation by His will. The primary purpose of this book is to convince all people that Jesus is the Christ, the Eternal God, manifesting himself unto all nations. It teaches that all people must come unto Him or they cannot be saved.

This book is another witness for the truths taught in the bible as it restores the plain and precious things that was lost from the Bible. It is the keystone of our religion and a man will get nearer to God,  abiding by  its precepts, than by any other book.

As we read the Book of Mormon prayerfully and with the companionship of the Holy Ghost, our understanding of Heavenly Father’s plan will increase. With this kind of an understanding as a foundation for our life, we will be able to make wise choices, live in harmony with God’s will, strengthen our testimony, find peace and joy by living the Gospel and remaining true to our faith. As we continue to diligently study the Book of Mormon daily we will be able to re-discover the truths, find new meaning and application of these truths at different stages of life and open our hearts and mind to receive more knowledge about the Gospel. Helaman 5:12 teaches us that when we build our foundation upon Jesus Christ and lay a strong base, nothing in the world can affect , despite the many temptations, trials and tribulations that may come to us, the Lord’s love and support is always there for us and I  testify that it is true because of my personal experience.

I know that Jesus is the Christ, and that God sent his only begotten Son to cleanse the sins of every man on earth. I know that Prophet Joseph Smith did see God the Father and Jesus Christ face to face and restored the Gospel on earth. I also know that the Book of Mormon is the most correct book and the true word of God. I testify that reading the Book of Mormon daily has uplifted and strengthened me. And as we continue to feast upon the words of Christ we will get closer to Him. I share this in the name of our Savior and Redeemer Jesus Christ, amen.
